Details
Calabash contains 26 recipes for the home cook, from some of Hawaiʻi's great chefs. The recipes in Calabashreflect the wide range of cultural and culinary backgrounds of the chefs and bartenders involved. These chefs make food influenced by Hawaiian, Filipino, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, French, and many other cuisines. Among them, they have food trucks, family-owned businesses, and internationally-recognized awards on their resumés. The common denominators are their love of Hawaiʻi, their undeniable talent, and their passion for sharing deliciousness.
All profits after the cost of printing + binding go to the Hawaiʻi Community Foundation's Maui Strong Fund. The Maui Strong Fund is providing financial resources to support the immediate and long-term recovery needs for the people and places affected by the devastating Maui wildfires.

The book is spiral bound, 7.5 x 9 inches, 100 pages. The interior was printed and the book was bound in Hawaiʻi.
