About the Artist

Flying Chameleon is the art/lifestyle brand of Matt Hoyme. He started his artistic journey at an early age and has always been inspired by a combination of the natural world, other worldly imagery and his overactive imagination. Matt’s work invites the viewer into a realm in between reality and the fantastic with a light hearted edge that evokes joy and curiosity. Matt lives with his wife and two daughters on the east side of Kaua’i and enjoys surfing, fishing and hiking when he’s not painting or tattooing. He is co-owner of Ironbridge Tattoo in Wailua.
